Living Strong is a healthy lifestyle group-based program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It encourages participants to seek a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and physical activity and teaches life skills to be able to implement these into particpants’ daily lives.

Mununjali are involved in many projects including providing long term housing for their members in the Beaudesert and Logan City areas: Youth Support programs; Aged Care; Early Intervention programs; and much much more. Some specific projects coordinated by Mununjali include:

  • Mununjali Jymbi Centre – family assistance, emergency accommodation, healing intervention and playgroup

Inala Indigenous Health Service is a Queensland Health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located in Inala, 18 km South West of Brisbane CBD, the clinic is staffed by GPs, nurses, allied health and Aboriginal health workers, and visiting medical specialists.

Kambu Medical Centre is an Aboriginal community controlled medical service in Ipswich. In addition to providing regular primary health care, Kambu Medical Centre has general and specialist clinics running regular nutrition, immunisation, antenatal, baby, chronic disease management, counselling, optometry, podiatry and hearing programs. Regular workshops are also held locally for issues including stress management, tobacco, men’s health, women’s health, nutrition and life skills.
